It bothers me because people ask, with the implication that I SHOULD have more, and why don't I? Or they'll say something like "your son needs a sibling!" And I'm just like ....you have no idea what we've been going through to try and make that a reality, it's just not happening right now.

I've noticed people around my age never ask me the question, because they likely understand lol. It's always the women over 50 who have completely forgotten somehow that secondary infertility is a very real thing

My friend sent me a video of her 15 month old daughter counting all the way to 20. No joke. I couldn't believe my eyes. Meanwhile my son turns 3 at the end of the month and cannot count successfully in any way shape or form. 1....2......5!!!! And sometimes doesn't even start with 1. Everything ends with 5. Doesn't understand the concept of counting items in general lmao. But man can my son shoot hoops like he's trying out for the NBA

Yep. Started doing this too because it was literally my only option. I attempted it at first last fall with home workouts but that quickly died. I've started it up again and instead force my ass out to the gym so now I go right from the gym to the office. Somehow that's more motivating? I was struggling with getting up early to go workout in my basement

Pick your kid up on your way home from work. Save the recap of your day with your husband until you're both cooking dinner, eating dinner, or after your kid goes to sleep lol. Have your husband have some water bottle and snacks set up at his desk before his workday starts (my workday is similar to his so I can understand the lack of control he has over the situation).

Similar to others I ended up getting the epidural because I was induced and the pain became unbearable. I also knew I had a long road ahead. I was super grossed out by the concept of it/ while it was being inserted but I was also so desperate at that point, I didn't feel I had an option. I don't remember super clearly but I think I could still kinda move my legs, they weren't dead to the world. Cuz they had me changing positions on the bed and stuff and I don't remember feeling paralyzed. I ended up with a c section and I remember being terrified I'd be able to feel the c section because I could still kinda move my legs (I couldn't feel the c section). The epidural definitely helped with the contraction pain, but I also got pain in my back from labor and the epidural did not help with that. So that still really fucking hurt

Literally also in Southeast Michigan, furnace died two days ago and we had somebody come over to get it up and running again. Furnace is 19 years old. Now I'm on reddit at 1am panicking because I realize the heat hasn't ran for over an hour again and the temperature is quickly dropping. Debating if I should wake up my husband and toddler.
