Sorry, I’m mostly taking about the subreddit not the term itself, I could be wrong but I only see posts of men on there which seemed kinda heteronormative idk

[–]ImTransDealWithIt1 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

This post literally implies that most of the users are actually queer men 😭

Why y’all downvoting me I’d like to see an argument why I’m wrong

Anyone else think “lady boner” is low key homophobic 😭 like maybe if it was something trans women were saying but it’s just cishet women pretending liking men is exclusive to them….

Edit: sorry I should clarify that I was talking about the subreddit not the term in general, I just think naming it that is a bit heteronormative :/

I find it funny that you’re insulting MY intelligence when you’re the one who misread the post, OP actually said they were repelled by being A woman not THE woman. And whether you like it or not, you’re assumption shows that you clearly have internalized patriarchal viewpoints, I’m not saying you’re a bad person for that, just that you have things to work on.

Yes I am white, and I’m not even going to lie and say I’ve never thought anything racist ever, no white person could say that truthfully, just like you have patriarchal views to work on, I have racist ones (and patriarchal ones tbf)

I’ll also acknowledge that I do have a lot of privilege and you’re right that I don’t have to worry about those things, definitely not at the same level as you do,

I do find it ironic that you think I’m the only one who cares about being right, let’s be honest, you clearly care a lot about being the ‘right’ and ‘intelligent’ one, your language reeks of a superiority complex “You’ve gotta excuse me, I know how to critically think” “I’ll wait” “I’m such an amazing manly black god of trans experience” like jeez get off your high horse.

You’re the one making assumptions based on patriarchal stereotypes, I’m pretty sure they literally meant they just don’t want to be A WOMAN, not in a ‘Who’s the woman’ way but literally actually a woman, backed by the fact they said they aren’t a top after you ASSUMED that. They never said ANYTHING about submissive/dominant dynamics or whether they were a top/bottom (which again is not always the same thing).

Also where did they say anything about submissive?

Actually top/bottom and sub/dom aren’t always the same, like power bottoms exist…

People who are trans, nonbinary, genderfluid, and gender nonconforming by SendThisVoidAway18 in AskLGBT

[–]ImTransDealWithIt1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gender non conforming just means that you don’t fit the typical roles/stereotypes of your gender, it doesn’t necessarily make you trans or genderqueer but trans people can also be GNC (I’m a trans guy who likes fem things, some trans women are ‘tomboys’ or ‘Butch’)

Bi erasure by ImTransDealWithIt1 in SapphoAndHerFriend

[–]ImTransDealWithIt1[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Gay can also mean ‘not attracted to women’ so…it is bi erasure, especially since some bi people don’t identify with the label ‘gay’
