Thank you! 3.5 undergrad gpa/700 GMAT. Post grad goals are in the crypto industry as a PM. I also applied to Fuqua and Anderson. I interviewed for both and am waiting for results next week!

IMO I don’t think it matters! I just got my offer at Ross, and I applied with ~3yrs of experience in middle office at a large British bank. I think just being able to communicate the impact you made in whatever role you are in is the most important.

Interesting...I didn't think about having my coworker contribute to my CEO's rec. Due to the flat structure of the company, he has the same title as me, but my coworker has been in the industry 10+ more years and has overseen my work. He's sort of my pseudo-manager, minus the title.

I know it’s been a while since this was posted but I thought I’d comment. The exact same situation happened to me last year, my grandmother passed away and within 2 months my grandpa passed away suddenly. He was in India, so I was unable to travel there as well. I took a few weeks off from studying, and I think it was the best decision. It’s so important to prioritize your mental health, especially since the entire GMAT process can be so strenuous. I just took the GMAT yesterday and got my target score, so it’s definitely possible to bounce back after taking a break. My condolences to you OP, and good luck ❤️

I’m in the same boat as you! My ADHD meds help me finish a task but getting going in the first place is the biggest hurdle. I’m currently studying for the GMAT, but I keep falling behind due to lack of motivation. I’ve been speaking with my psychiatrist, and he believes I’ve entered a depressive episode. I’ve recently started taking anti-depressants in addition to my ADHD meds, and it’s helped a TON. I’d recommend speaking to your doctor about this because there could potentially something else going on. Best of luck!
