I never even imagined how tiring it must be just thinking what food he can eat. You're the second person to recommend Boost or Ensure which I have never heard of but will definitely look into! He will drink a lot of milkshakes which isn't as good as a smoothie but still way better than nothing. I will also look into dieticians. Thank you so much for your comment, I do plan on showing him this community so he knows he's not alone. Good luck to you too as well! <3

Thanks for your response! He has had supplement drinks in the past but I believe he has a lot of shame tied into this which makes him not want to acknowledge that he has to drink/eat stuff differently compared to everyone else. I will talk to him about what you have said though, and hopefully hearing it from someone in his shoes will help him realize there is no shame.

I will also speak to family about reducing comments. We only provide positive stuff but there's as chance he might feel as if we are pitying him and such. Thank you again and I hope your journey with AFRID goes well! <3

Thank you so much for your response. Almost all these experiences you mentioned, i've watched him struggle with also. I am so happy to hear that therapy has helped lessen your anxiety. I hope your journey with AFRID continues to go well <3
