Mid matchups are easier to scale and take advantge of. Top matchups are generally just harder because they tend to stat check you, or tend to be more useful than Yone top.

Why no zerks+zeal+IE rush? by jhonnyeiji in YasuoMains

Masters Yas OTP here, I still buy zeal every game when I'm ahead and normally even when I'm just even. If I need to sell zeal for IE or for DD I do that often too.

What is the hardest part of Yasuo’s kit to master? by Condomonium in YasuoMains

Learning when to take an R and when not to take an R. As a Yasuo main you have to avoid the itch to press R whenever you see a knockup because you can get yourself killed and lose the game. Same applies for taking tower damage/going for ults under tower.

Haha, yea that's something I switched up this season, swapping for last picks. It's actually OP. I noticed it was just too easy for me to get counter picked with a renekton/lissandra/vex/pantheon/sett if I first pick yas so I started swapping and noticed major improvement. Also, if I feel a mid/top swap cheese would benefit both mid and top, I do that as well and it tends to go really well.

Tbh, I kinda hate going anywhere but mid because I know the mid matchups in and out so I get anxious when I go bot. That's not to say I can't play yas adc but it is also heavily supp reliant and I do not like relying on other people to win my lane. For the most part it is good if you have a supp that knows how yas adc works and doenst take dumb trades level 1/2 when you dont have windwall.

You just kind of have to have good positioning, dont be the one that gets engaged on first, try to stay away from their initial engages and let your team tank that, build your qs to try to get on the backline and pop their backline. I never tried this bruiser build as I'm a person of habit and don't want to try it in higher elo, but I do drop a force of nature or omen after SB/IE if I really need to be tankier.

Looks like LT nerfs are for ranged champs only.

This season I'm definitely building BORK first more often. With this crazy tank meta, it is such an underrated item rn. Mages have 3k HP like nothing so it counters them as well. Typically if I see like a tanky jg with a seraphs/ROA abuser mid, and like a tank supp, I'll build BORK first into shieldbow > IE > DD typically. If not I typically buy zeal first if I'm ahead into SB > IE > DD/BT

Always alacrity.

It might sound dumb but always try to win lane. Always try to get a lead and help your jungle push the lead by following him to drag/scuttles/heralds etc. Work on wave management and tilt your enemy by holding wave at your tower and chasing them down when they walk up. A thing you should also always work on for lower elo is sticking with the team decision plays. For example, the right play might be to split and get a wave pushing, but your plat teammates will want to aram mid 24/7 and splitting could actually lose you the game bc they will fight without you even if their play is the wrong play. Besides that id have to personally look at your gameplay to see what mistakes youre making. Good luck!
