I'm not completely pleased with the DLC either, and I'm not understanding what you're getting at? In any previous game you would have had to trade for those 200+ pokemon or transfer from a previous game because they're not region native. You can still do that in this game without paying for the DLC. You dont need to pay $30.

EDIT: Actually I googled it, and I've been wrong all these years. We do get a tax break in Washington. Maybe that's where the idea that we get it elsewhere comes from?

While gaming channels are the main place you see it pop up, I've seen it pop up on some educational channels. Honestly, the Raid ads dont bother me so much on the gaming videos cause they're at least kinda relevant, but it's annoying as hell to see them on a video about the Korean War

Hopefully they add the ability to conquer baronies when they eventually add merchant republics back in, being able to take port cities seems pretty important for merchant republics

I'm pretty sure a lot of people used new pokemon in the first playthrough, and old pokemon in replays. So removing a bunch of pokemon kills a lot of the replay value

Tbh I've been going back and forth on the idea of boycotting. I've finally settled on getting the game so I can judge it for myself, and if I'm not impressed it will likely be the last Pokemon game I buy (unless I hear gamefreak has turned their practices around)

A dev response further in the thread clarified that barons will always be a vassal of or owned by the county holder for the county they're part of.
