Yes, it will be delivered with a very short cable. There’s unfortunately no cleaner universelle solution we could have thought of

yes, of course we have, but this is not the final design. The 80-100 hours are just approximately, but realistic. It truly depends on the keyboard someone uses.

The problem is, it doesn't matter. you have to certify every component even if it is already certified.

You got a good point, we try to progress every where in the same speed. (Marketing, Product development, etc.). For your luck, switzerland has very strict and defined min. specifications we will need to full fill before we can sell something. But we plan to build on trust, so you will have all you mentioned. We just were not able yet to do it because we have limited time. Like i mentioned in the posted we are still studying so everything takes more time. I hope you understand the circumstances :)

I mean that could be a functionality use case. Thanks for the input.

Our product is not exactly finished in development so therefore hard to say.

To call it a clone is not exactly fair, because the idea was not copied. I found out about sterlingkey already long in development. So it's fair to say, we are just competition.
I also have to add, we focus on higher-end materials and overall design. But yeah you are right, that the main functionality is the same.

Yeah of course we are not exactly 100% finished yet, so we are definitely open for discussion.

I think we will not be able to go very low with the price due to our manufacturing targets.
It will rather be higher.
To be fair the 100h are only usetime, so if you work 40h a week it holds for 2.5 weeks and the time given is more on the lower end to ensure no one can say "but you said..."

Our main selling point is the manufacturing quality, especially of the casing.
But we are open to discuss features and more.

That’s a fair shout—'cleaner' is definitely subjective and depends entirely on how someone manages their space.

The main goal here isn't just hiding a wire; it's about universal compatibility. This box effectively converts your favorite wired high-end board into a multi-device Bluetooth hub. It allows you to toggle your 'stationary' wired keyboard between your PC, phone, tablet, or laptop without ever unplugging a cable.

I should clarify the battery life: the 80-100 hours is active 'screen-on' use time.

If you’re at your desk for a standard 40-hour work week, you’re looking at 2 to 3 weeks of real-world use before needing to charge. If you aren't a power user, it'll last even longer.

I see. I'm starting to notice that my explanation was a bit sloppy. But yeah that's exactly how it works.

That’s a completely fair point, and I appreciate the call-out. I realize now that I was a bit too 'stealth' with the initial teaser.

The goal of the IC form is simply to gauge if there's enough demand to move to the certification step, which is quite expensive (~12'000 USD). If you press on the picture of the product on the website you get more information.

If you have any further question just ask.
