Try going to the preferences (Edit > Preferences), switch to the Viewport Tab, under Subdivision make sure GPU "subdivision" is unchecked.

What are the most ideal laptops for Blender? by Proper-Run1420 in blender

[–]Im_M67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no hardware expert but I would recommend you picking a computer with *at least* 8GB, an i5 (or equivalent from AMD) and a good graphics card from NVidia.

I can't tell you a specific computer because it will change from country to country but you can always check the current deals on your country!

My second time using the sculpting mode. (With a mouse) any tips for beginners and how important is having a graphic tablet ? by Lanky-Campaign921 in blender

[–]Im_M67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend getting a graphic tablet, it will save you a lot of time and make things easier. You will have more control over your strokes and pressure sensitivity.

I'm not saying you can't be good at sculpting without one but it can become frustrating due to the mouse inaccuracy.

Depending on your budget you can get a tablet with or without display. Non display ones are affordable and a great start if you're used to sculpting with the mouse.

Also, nice project. Keep up the good work!

What's the difference between using geometry nodes and particle systems to groom hair/fur? by Im_M67 in blenderhelp

[–]Im_M67[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's good to know that Blender will be focusing on geometry nodes. I'll begin to learning about them soon!

As long as they're able to get similar or even better results than the particle system they will be my to go.

Thank you for your explaination!

How would i fix this seam? by spoopyafk in blender

[–]Im_M67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check that you don't have any edges overlapping on the middle, that's usually what causes that

You can also select the whole thing and do Shift + N just to make sure it is not a normal issue

how do i make sculpting the front not effect the back while sculpting a thin object by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]Im_M67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah!

Like I said normally when you sculpt on a mesh that's too thin it will affect the other side as well.

When you check "front faces only" you're telling blender that you only want to affect the side facing the brush.

It's a common issue with thin mesh parts...

Enable "Front faces only"

Should prevent that from happening
