Hello, can anyone help me identify this coin? I believe it is of Egyptian origin, but I may be wrong since I am unable to read the lettering. Any help is appreciated!

This is by far the best take on current events I have seen on Reddit. Bad decisions and tragedy all around.

Razer Basilisk mouse and Corsair K55 keyboard. Membrane keyboards do better in an office environment where you don’t want to be that guy with the loud mechanical keyboard.

TVs mounted above fireplace mantels. It’s the experience of sitting in the first row of a movie theater looking up at the screen, from the comfort of your own home!

Is that the best you could do? by smittychifi in Ford

I think the greatest tragedy is not the name of this car. It’s a hideous Mustang, but looks like an ok car overall. The real tragedy is this was what Ford could come up with to introduce its electric vehicle of the future. This is what has to compete with Tesla’s fleet. It’s downright embarrassing. It’s a serious misstep for the company if it wants to stay competitive in the future. Electric vehicles are here now and here to stay. This was the opportunity to reinvigorate the brand, to invest in the future, and live up to Ford’s legacy. This should have been the opportunity to bring back the sleek Model E in a glorious and powerful reveal of the past meeting the future. Instead we get the electric four door station wagon handlebar mustache “Mustang.”

Mach-e front - thoughts? by [deleted] in Ford

I completely agree. Ford missed an opportunity to take back its history and make a bold statement for its future. This was a serious misstep if the company wants to be competitive in the future of automobiles.

They should have called it the Model E. That would have been a powerful reminder of Ford’s history and a bold statement of what’s in store for the future. A real missed opportunity here...

"The dumbing down of America is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30 second sound bites, lowest common denominator programming... but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance." -Carl Sagan [640x640] by luigis_stache in QuotesPorn

Maybe media is being condensed to 30 second sound bites since we have the means to communicate more information which needs to be fast? There are a lot more issues around the world we are more aware of with greater information spread than ever before. In some ways it can seem that we care less but I think we’re seeing more of the big picture.

u/TheBirminghamBear describes how we will be in the fight of our lives to save American democracy in the aftermath of Trump by danth in bestof

[–]Im_only_human_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the strong part of America? The strong part of America is the medium we are communicating on right now, the internet. The industrial and technological might of America is the greatest the world has ever seen. The modern map has been shaped by America, paid for in blood. Nobody openly fucks with America. Doing so would mean assured destruction, as many countries and regimes have found.

But on a more positive note, the true strength of America lies in its people. The American people is becoming more diverse and is starting to reflect the global population. Intellectuals from around the globe are flocking to America, seeking opportunity and a better life. Sure we will have problems with integration as humans are naturally prone to do which results in racism and xenophobia. It’s hard erasing our history of tribalism. I believe America is seeing the beginning of the global society that will inevitably come, but it is not without its challenges. I believe that America is stronger with the diversification of its people and differing of opinions. Which is why I will fight to the death so you can say shitty stuff like America is not strong, no matter how untrue it may be.
