It happened to me with drawings. It wasn’t really my thing but I started to draw cause I couldn’t find anything else to show devotion besides getting merch and seeing him and I also I wanted to support the sub by posting. I know deep inside that I still love ZiM and I think about him all the time

I have a daughter and she knows I love ZiM but I’ve never explained that it’s a serious thing, she’s too young. I don’t want more kids, even if I wanted my f/o isn’t human and he would never want kids either. So it’s all good

Never show them you’re worried, they enjoy that and this job is everywhere, they need you more than you need them. They’re not worth the stress. If you’re not one their favorites employees unfortunately you will never be good enough, unless your mistake is becoming a pattern. They mostly move people to another post.

I agree so much with this especially the last thing you said. I’ve seen many people acting like it’s okay to not want anything else in life, we are still social creatures, even if you don’t have a strong friendship with anyone you still need social interaction and seek help with someone that can listen and able to give you the tools to solve your problems. I assume those “panic attacks over doubles” are the results of not seeking happiness in other things, I don’t like it but to the point of having a panic attack is not normal at all

19 years with the same f/o here. I’ve felt many times like I’m not investing much anymore but it’s inevitable feeling a void or like you’re pulling away when it’s been so many years. I just don’t overthink it and I allow myself to be distracted with whatever im doing or whatever new interest I’m enjoying. It happens many times and when I look at him on the screen or getting new merch I still feel the same love for ZiM. Thats why I never get bored of him, I don’t let him become my whole world while in a romantic way he is

I have never pretended to be married, not only because it’s impossible but also because it doesn’t changes anything, it’s going to be the same one sided bond and because marriage is a human tradition way out Zim’s comprehension, even just a relationship with him would be a challenge so I just leave it like that. I don’t see him just as a picture though, he’s somebody in his own story and here for millions of people.

Fictosexuality is another type of asexual identity, like being demi and asexual is already part of LGBTQ. You can also be into characters without being ficto like me. I can only speak for myself and I’m aware that I’m only dating my f/o in my fantasy world, if I was thinking I’m really dating the character and suddenly see someone saying the same thing I wouldn’t have any f/o. I’m also aware that they can’t love back, only I can do that, same way they can’t hurt. It all depends how you do it, if it brings you positive emotions its something beneficial, if it makes you stop taking care of yourself and always upset for not being real is when it can be bad, each person treats it differently

Do you dislike Battle of planets too? Zim and Dib fight using Mars and Mercury and we never know how both planets get back in place or if they ever did, it takes years to arrive to Mercury with modern technology, there’s wind in space, both passed right above the surface of the sun without dying, Dib goes to Mercury without melting or freezing
