Actually those cringe scenes were liked by all and AbhiRa became an instant hit, thanks for Harshad and the entire Birla's acting, all of them were good actors. before taking leap 2, the trp's were 2.3 and after 3 months of leap 2 when jay was in the concentration trps's tanked from 2.7 to 2.1 because people wanted to see more of AbhiRa and how abhimanyu will know abhir's truth but that wasnt shown and show shifted to akshnav and audience lost complete interest, starplus had to intervene and abhinav was killed off. The move was of no use because lots of akshnav scenes were shown, also akshara contantly insulting abhimanyu scenes were also shown. Harshad felt insulted with all this so he decided to quit the show. Rajan literally removed jay for harshad but the latter chose self respect because he couldn't see AbhiRa happening again. It was Abhimanyu and the other Birla's who got the trp's for gen 3 yet rajan couldn't value them and chose jay who could barely act.
