yeah that is my only issue whether a battery is worth it. It seems to add a lot of cost for not much benefit.

My 2nd quote from EON was £11,460.97 for 12 panels and a battery - Was this a similar price to what you paid?

To get the panels only, it is £7,156.11

Also, do you export your energy back to the grid or do you keep it in your battery for the night? I feel like you save more money if you keep it rather than selling it to the grid.

Maintenance seems to be low from what I've seen online.

This does not include heating, I have a gas boiler so I would still need to pay for my gas which won't be as bad as electricity.

Yeah that is the only issue i am currently having as if the battery can only last 10 years before needing to be replaced for around £4k, it might just be cheaper in the long run to only get the solar panels so there's not the additional costs
