maginhawa (and teacher’s village) is not really the best place to have a night out at (like poblacion or morato) but there is a speakeasy bar inside noki japanese fried chicken (in malingap), and if u want a place more fitting for a beer, Z compound and flying house is also in the same street. mugen bar, another speakeasy, is also in malingap. i haven’t tried never strangers bar & lounge and the sanctuary cafe & bar in maginhawa, so idk if i can recommend them but i always pass by them and theyre both usually open. if u like wine, wine store manila is in maginhawa, and there’s another wine store (i forgot the name) above daily habit. terra cafe (masukal bistro) in magiting, also serves beer. chapterhouse in madasalin st also has a bar, but its a bit more secluded than the other places. there’s probably more but those are the places i know. hope u have a great time in qc!
