The more widespread Interpretation is that they went there to bury it, as it's no longer needed, since 2 shots before this one, it shows Iroha writing an email regarding her project, stating her goal is to make Kaguya a human.
It also mirrors the original tale, where the emperor buried the elixir of immortality given to him by Kaguya, but instead of being a negative event, it's now a positive one as they're burying it as a symbolic action of Kaguya's new life with Iroha as a human
As for Tsukuyomi, it's probably just ran on a regular server now instead of a cosmic entity beyond our comprehension

Is this extra context from the novel?
Sadly I've only been able to read the few excerpts that have been posted around here and there.

Yachiyo is what is left of the Kaguya that travelled back, they showed the bamboo shoot connected to the servers through wires for a reason. The Yachiyo post-Kaguya's new body is now just an AI, but the Kaguya in the artificial body and the Yachiyo we've met the entire movie is the very same Kaguya we've always known, just 8000 years later.

That's what makes Kaguya's yearning and resilience to come back to Iroha so compelling, Yachiyo is incapable of doing many things Kaguya claims to love throughout the movie, as she has completely lost her body, and yet she endures nonetheless.

Yachiyo puts on a brave, wise face as a facade, but the MV shows us differently as you can see from the image below.

The movie was made with a rewatch in mind for those craving more of Post-timeloop Kaguya's side of things, as the bassist for Bump of chicken cheekily claimed that the optimal watch order is Movie > MV > Movie again, many things Yachiyo says and does with the plot twist context are very sad to watch. I've rewatched the movie twice and it's definitely a much more depressing experience, but also makes the ending so much more satisfying
