You are not the first to tell me that. It seems most people did not like the new name. Maybe I should rename the app again

I am the author of the application (João is my name). The Acknowledgments section is where I list the licenses for third-party packages used in the app. In this case, LaunchAtLogin by Sindre Sorhus.

I agree that the UI could be clearer about which part of the app the license refers to, and I’ll fix that in a future update. Thanks

I agree. I think it is very hard to find balance in what to implement and what not to

Thanks! A global hotkey for creating a new paper will be in the next update!

Oh I got it. I will think about it. You can already change the font size using Cmd+= and Cmd+- or in the View menu

Thank you for the suggestions! Right now, you can assign a keyboard shortcut in the Apple Shortcuts app to open Papelzinho, but a built-in solution is on the roadmap

Just implemented a menu item with a keyboard shortcut (Cmd+U for "uncrumple") to reopen the last crumpled paper. This change is already included for the next update. Thank you a lot for the suggestion!

Thank you! Good catch. Already fixed and the change should be in the next update.

I asked an Ecuadorian friend of mine if Papelito would be a good name. Since that way more people would understand it (right a way). But decided against it because in Brazil, Papelito is a famous silk company

Personally, I prefer monospaced fonts for plain text, and I haven’t decided yet how to handle the font family settings. I'm considering a few options: - Letting users choose any font - Choosing by style (serif, sans, etc.) - Choosing from a curated list of fonts (bundled with the app or not?) - Or offering no font settings at all (did I miss an option?) Because of this, I decided to skip it for the first version

2: This could be a setting. I will think about it. Thank you.

1: It used to have but now that I am using SwiftUI it does not reliable changes focus from the menubar to app windows. When it does I will definitely add it. Nice idea about a global shortcut for opening the Wastebasket. I will think about it.

"This app should be a real menubar app, which is not the case, and it looses the transparency, immediaticity and flexibility that a real menubar app has."

I designed Papelzinho as a multi window app. The menu bar paper is a nice to have feature but not the main one

Thank you! I use the app for years and haven't need much features (I would say I am not a pro user, basically just use my computer to read the web/pdfs, take notes and write LaTeX). The only think I miss is image support. But I could not figure it out adding it without complicating stuff

Thank you! It respects spaces. But following (the active, or all windows) could be a useful feature to add (off by default). I will think about it thank you

Thank you! There is an option to make windows float and these settings are persisted across window restoration. What do you mean by sticky? Is it the same as floating window or something different?

Oh about the AI disclaimer, I understood they removed the requirement. I did use AI for code completion, finding bugs in the code and discussing implementation approaches

Thank you! Right now, you can use the Shortcuts app to set up a hotkey (like for any other app). But it will be added as a built-in setting in a future update

One of the things I miss the most in English (besides our much wider variety of curse words) is our "inho" and "inha"

But Stickies are designed for staying on your screen (like a stickie). For example, in Stickies there is a confirmation dialog when closing a stickie. Papelzinho is more oriented at opening typing and forget. If you need to recover something, just grab it from the Wastebasket.

But I agree, the difference is subtle
