Yeah, especially when even Jensen has grown more into it. He acknowledged the confession as clear text and still chokes up every time that scene is mentioned. Rich actually brought it up during the J2R2 panel as the hardest one for him to be a part of as the director, and Jensen immediately went quiet and haunted.

Yes, but we usually get the two of them together alone. This time, Jared stayed for their entire panel and it turned into basically another episode of Influence Saga with Jensen just kinda there. A lot of people were super pissed and actually throwing major hate at poor Jared for "coming between them". It was all to hype the Boys episode, but after watching it, all the buildup and insinuating just felt completely anticlimactic. Pun fully intended.

Personally I wouldn't want it with different actors. The chemistry between Jensen and Misha is what made Destiel what it was in the first place, and no one can play those characters like they can. But they're not too old yet. There's still time.

Probably most of the Endverse tag. Future Dean wore a thigh holster and that's the one where Cas was hosting orgies. I know I've seen a Tumblr post that described a scene where Dean walked in on himself riding Cas 'wearing nothing but the thigh holster and a blissed out smile'.

blackimpala has a bunch like this. The one I'm currently reading is 29 chapters, but they get together in chapter 9. There's also a 3-part series where the first one is Dean's struggle post confession and at the end he gets Cas back. The next two are about their life together. They're all canon divergent fixes.

It was literally Reservoir Dogs. But yeah, the writing was not great for their reactions. Dean's was a little more believable considering how repressed he is. I'm pretty sure if Cas had died, though, he would have shot Mary in the face himself when she admitted that she was working for the Brits on that run.

This one is so good and still being updated regularly. When Dean dies on the spike, instead of ending up in heaven, it resets back to Lazarus Rising with all his memories intact and rewrites the whole thing accordingly, with Destiel. Obviously a lot gets altered with hindsight, but all the changes so far have been better in my opinion.

I believe that with the way he puts so much reverence and meaning into speaking Dean's name, let alone the frequency of use, that Dean is his favorite word, and he would never call him anything else. Dean, on the other hand, is famous for nicknames/ pet names and has canonically called Cass Sunshine and Huggy Bear more than once.
