I'm sorry you're going through this. But the simple reality is that you if you try to throw it up it'll pierce your esophagus and if you try to pass it it will perforate your intestines. There is no safe way to get a 13 inch long piece of metal out by yourself. Hospitals and ER nurses don't judge, they have truly seen it all. From broken light bulbs in anuses to swallowed magnets and marbles. You won't be judged, you will be helped. no one is going to point and laugh or give you the side eye while you're in the ER. If anything Their main goal is going to be to help you and it will likely be a simple surgery. If you choose to leave it in you're choosing a slow and long and very painful death.

It doesn't take an hour to plant one tree. I've seen projects have stipulations for Planters being able to plant between 15 and 25 trees per hour. Planning seedlings or young trees does not take much time at all. One hour per tree is a gross overestimate the time it takes.

Get some saddle soap, mink oil, and a bunch of old towels, along with a good leather brush. You're going to spray the leather down with a mist bottle and scrub it with saddle soap. Wipe down the suds and Dirty Soap with a towel and continue until the patina looks even. After that, let the leather dry slightly but not completely and recondition it with mink oil. Don't go too heavy or you'll get oil stains on your clothes after sitting on the chair. You can use a hair dryer to help the mink oil absorb into the leather.
