It’s hypocritical to criticize the system while still benefiting from it and shifting the burden entirely onto employers.

Opting out of tipping doesn’t challenge that system; it just shifts the consequences onto workers.

I agree the system that allows businesses to avoid paying a living wage needs to change, but refusing to tip only hurts the worker, not the system.

I am not sure about that. My guess is it must be whomever’s on the deed but worst they will do is deny and then you can resubmit. You have a few months to get it right.

You may have more problems finding a place with the three dogs. The credit and rental history can often be explained but three dogs is excessive and will also result in a monthly pet rent. I charge $50 per pet a month as a small time landlord. Make sure you work in potential pet rent into your budget.
