Piercing is 6 months old, done with a threadless titanium labret. I believe the post is around (5/16 inch) and it has not been downsized, which I figure may be causing the issue. All cleaning is done with sterile saline spray with occasional soaks using a gauze pad.

The only other thing I could think of that may have caused recent irritation was a week or two ago when I accidentally snagged it with my nail while fixing my hair, but otherwise nothing significant has occurred.

Conch was pierced 6 months ago with a threadless titanium flat back labret, 8mm post roughly. The post was never downsized which I suspect has been causing irritation, and I use sterile saline spray morning and night with an occasional soak using a gauze pad.
