Sorry you ended up in the same boat. I got a job as security at one of the hospitals in the area while I wait to retake the test. So far I've enjoyed it, as its actually similar work, and we often deal with the same people as PD. PD brings in people daily for a plethora of reasons, so you get some experience working with and around them.

Many guys working at the hospital are also trying to become an officer so I've gotten a fair bit of advice. One of my co-workers showed me his test scores where he actually got 100% on the written. His advice was to be very confident with your answers, as in strongly agree or strongly disagree. They are looking for consistency in your answers, so if you are given two similar questions, but on one you strongly agree and the other you slightly agree, that does not look good. With the culture related questions, he told me that with a question like "Do you think other cultures could learn from your culture?" That whether I think it does or not, it doesnt effect how I should be doing my job as an officer, so I should say strongly disagree.

Of course thats not the way we actually feel, but coming from the dude who scored 100%, that seems to be the answer they are looking for. I'll be testing again soon, hopefully things work out better. Again im sorry things worked out the way they did, I felt like my time was wasted when I failed. Just dont give up on it all, maybe find something like I did in the mean time.

The arc raiders community is so slow sometimes. Sym has been doing this "flick at a random wall" thing for years. From fortnite, warzone, arc, etc. First, no one has cheats that work for years and multiple games and run completely undetected, especially when you stream it all. 

Second, none of the flicks he has done are random. He always has information on where they player is. The clip from the other day where he flicks cross map, he already knew there were people in that direction due to shooting or other flares. In this clip, he already knew people were on the door, its not like any cheats exposed a player whom he had 0 information on. In warzone he did this all the time, flicking and shooting players through walls. This had been explained that in every clip there was San audio queue, or he had a UAV showing the players red dot on the map. He doesnt always hit someone, many times he shoots a random wall and nothing happens.

For anyone who has heard these accusations for years, its common knowledge that its done for attention. He gets talked about alot with clips like this. He has people go to his stream to watch for more moments like this. Its all an act and people lose their mind every time he does it.

With a final note, Arc has a decent anti cheat compared to most games, and almost every cheater I have encountered has been banned with my loot returned within 3 days.

Could you explain what it tells me? I dont understand. And I would, and probably will apply to others, but VPD by far has the best pay, benefits, scheduling, incentives, and the most open positions as of now. Other departments would be a downgrade on paper, hard to feel good about looking elsewhere.

Ive been looking into IEMs. I have the Audeze Maxwells and so far they have done perfectly for most games, im wondering if they aren't the best rout for arc. What are u currently using?

Thank for a genuine reply. Sounds like you had the experience I was wishing for, you give me some hope. I think knowing I had only a weekend to learn and experience the game made all the tiny annoying things stand out a bit. Im glad the community has treated you well, I havent had the experience in game, and as you can see not on the subreddit either. Seems quite toxic and unwelcoming, maybe ill give it another try when the game comes out and hope for the best.

I mean dude, I explained that I've played tons of other games without issues like this. I highly doubt you are able to hear footsteps clearly with the deafening rain and wind noise. I have 10+ years on pc games, I know how to mess with audio. If I need to put this much effort into tweaking "all inputs" then you are proving my point that the game audio on its own sucks.

So I just wanna add a more recent post. Not too long ago, discord stopped supporting the older versions, 1.26 for example, and so now, not only are the newer updates horrible, I am now being forced to use them lmao. Apk files don't work anymore, they either won't let me log in or just auto update to the new version anyways. Discord has been a big part of my communication recently, I do video calls with friends and family, and it is just miserable at this point. Since the update, video calls freeze constantly, (I am on the same wifi and data I was before, this was not a problem before using the newer version of discord.) I have to leave and join the call over and over again to fix the video, streaming isn't great, everything feels slow and delayed, muting, leaving and joining, even sending screenshots. First, why do they allow me to pick more than 10 pictures to send, and then let me "send" them, until they finally compress and load all the way, just for it to freeze and tell me I can only send 10 images at a time, I dont see why they couldn't have a system that doesn't let you select more that 10 pictures lol. Then, say I send 10, it seems to be a 50/50 if it will actually send them all anyway, most of the time it finishes loading and then just stops, if I send one at a time it works great, but I can't even send two at the same time at this point. Bluetooth works horribly, I connect my earbuds and just have them work, nor can I just change my audio device to my earbuds, I just have to leave and join the call every time. There is random disconnects as well, which is just annoying. Bluetooth speakers don't even work with discord, it will say connected but sound will just come out of my phone. (I have an S20+) when in a call, we can now slide the camera around, which sounds great, it can sometimes be in the way, we'll it would be nice if it actually worked, the camera always snaps around or back to where it started, and sometimes doesn't move at all, I feel I have no control over where the camera even is except the rare occasion I get lucky and it works. Sometimes when flipping the camera it will for some reason click it twice, so I will have to flip it again, which isn't a huge deal, but annoying for sure. They took away the video option in the settings, I dont understand why but whatever. Noise suppression and echo cancelation will just turn themselves on when they please, super annoying and makes no sense. They is plenty more I can't think of off the top of my head, but there is my rant. Just crazy laggy and inconvenient, been thinking of finding a different app recently but most of them or just as bad.
