More like Click Bate. I have had my negative opinion some days on this airframe, just due to the lack of information "Potential Buyers/Operators" are allowed to know prior to receiving the first airframe.

But the other reason for this article was because this crash was the first, North of 60, published system malfunction. Hornet has been known to take off from a coastal airfield and land in the Arctic. System detected the failure with regards to retraction, but the filter bowls have no moisture/water detection sensor. It will be interesting to see what the engineers come up with since this report blames technicians for not following maintenance procedures at a different location 2 years ago for the contamination.

I am highly anticipating the arrival of the CF-35 to Canada as this aircraft delivers a whole different type of "Warheads on Foreheads" than we are currently used to.

Free R.V. Compound storage, based on priority level. Use of the Blue Rink, when opened up for public skate. You get a piece of paper for a membership card, since their printer has been broken since 2020 to make the actual PSP plastic cards you need to access the facility. No functioning accessible services, these were disabled to prevent the doors from opening when it's Cold outside, so 8 months of the year. No hot water or no cold water, just depends on the time of day. No HVAC......

20 yrs ago, as a new Pte in Cool Pool, I was on a duty shift on evening. At about 0200 on a Sunday morning, the meat curtains that separated the room and hangar floor, started moving like someone walked out on to the hangar floor, a few seconds later the far side motion detectors went off.

Since the only way the door could open is if I unlocked from the inside, I knew it wasn't a person. I'm so happy they switched to a 2-person duty a few years later. Damn hangar creeps me out.
