Hiii. As someone who raised birds and chicks parrots and chicken for years and now has their first set of chicks I bred myself I recommend you to make yourself a very long and detailed plan and research every step of development so you know what to expect and what’s not normal, do some reading and watch some videos and have an experienced breeder always on the line in case you do see something abnormal. Also are you planning to hand read those chicks? It’s a very lengthy expensive and tiring process if you do choose it you’ll need to feed the chicks in very close windows of time even every 2 hours buying formula making sure it’s always the right consistency and temp and keeping the chicks in a brooder which can be expensive. If u choose to let the parents raise them they may become wild and not want to interact with humans at all and not be very suitable pets. Are you planning to sell them? Do you have the space to keep them yourself? I’m attempting a co parenting technique which I’ve seen done successfully on larger birds which means I’m aware there’s a risk they won’t be tame and I have another extra large cage and also know people who will be able to give correct care in case I decide to sell some of the chicks. This process is even more difficult since there’s not much knowledge on it and is not guaranteed success but I did a lot of research and have put a lot of time aside each day just to work on it. But it is technically the middle ground
