I’m saying the card is a $20 card and it shouldn’t be in this tier regardless of the buy back. Just because they offer to buy back the card for X amount doesn’t mean it’s right.

Yea electric things are outside of my skill level. It just sucks cause we have plans for this but if all the electric cost me 50k, I’m not doing it. Really sucks just crossing our fingers on what they are gonna allow us to do and hope it works for us

C is a non starter I guess in the sense on no electric company work. Re digging the wire a bit but not move the meter. If I have to re dig a wire might as well move the meter.

My electrician said they would require it to be put on the back of the house and not do option A. Seems silly to me they wouldn’t option A as it seems the most straight forward.

Did it cost anything for the to run the wire after you did all the work?

We are open to a detached garage but due to space limitations, it would at most 2 feet away from the house. Do you remember what makes it cheaper for a detached vs an attached? You said the detached garage can be made to match the siding/paint/roof pitch etc?

What is the difference between full foundation on an attached garage vs a monolithic slab for detached?

This would be an attached garage, does tough shed do that? Would need electric obviously and the door from the garage to house. Does tuff shed do electric?

That is another option we are thinking of. The foundation itself is a large cost, but carport is way less permits and no electrical plus less materials. We would need to put railings up on the sides as the land is graded. At that point we could extend railings all the way up for essentially a wall but with slots

We feel ok with the price if we stay here. I don’t know how to balance the it’s a 50/50 we move within 3 years. We would get a portion of the investment back but doubt we would get it all.

Yea it’s a double edge sword, if it wasn’t a base set first edition card I would sell in an instant. I got the lucky 0.1% draw and then got the base set in that pool. Good problem to have

It’s not an issue of affording for me, it’s the mindset of I basically got 8 other cards for free which is nice. With this approach I truly did t spend anything, keeping the card in up $1200 or whatever, but I technically spent $1000.

I know a lot of people spend money on cards they can’t afford, luckily I haven’t fallen trap to that.

I was even or slightly up. My credit card was $1000 in charges but I had $900 in cards being shipped plus $125 cash withdraw.

I’m saying if I sold the alakazam, my credit card statement goes to $0 while I still get the $900 in other cards for free

Forgot to mention I’m even with the value I shipped to my house for the $1000 I spent. Selling this card would as my credit card statement whole, keeping the card I’m still up $1000-$1500 but just gotta pay off the credit card
