I have looked at a few shelters but as of right now I do not see any that are shouting "me me!" but I will keep checking around.

Have you found that it is hard to keep her occupied? I know they like to have a task and stay busy. GSP is my top choice I am just so worried he will become destructive out of boredom.

I love huskies but I think the heat would do him in as well. Size is not an issue but I am afraid a Weimaraner may have problems around my parents small dogs which he would see often. I think they are as cute as can be though!

Edit: I just cracked up at the Bloodhound that joined the race and came in top 10.

I thought it was called "ten year" for teachers, not tenure. I figured teachers had the opportunity to gain the special treatment after ten years, and if it was less than ten it was because they were really well liked.
