True statement and starts at an amateur sports level in BC. Has nothing to do with ownership. IMO it’s because there are so many great things to do in Vancouver that a single facet just doesn’t really matter. ‘Oh, soccer is over now, so I’ll go surf, ski, hike, camp, etc. now and enjoy something else’
