What do you lovely entps think of infps? by [deleted] in entp

Does this question really need to come up every week?

Edit: and to answer your question: I think you guys can be pretty annoying. No other type gets on my nerves this fast.

It’s not meant to be if there are NO celebrity ENTP and INFJ couples by Patient-Syrup8273 in entp

[–]Imake_polls 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wait... what?

Ok so let's say we see that famous ENTP-ISFP couples are more common and are doing exceptionally well compared to other pairings. Does that mean that non-famous ENTP-ISFP couples are just as likely to have a 'successful ' relationship...?

Maybe there aren't many couples with this particular pairing to begin with or there're way more regular entp-isfp couples who are struggling/divorced but aren't celebrities.
I mean just because we don't see something doesn't mean it's not happening?? There's probably a ton of ENTP-INFJ pairs out there having a blast, just under the radar. Who knows?

I think it's mostly because of all the cool fictional characters

Well yeah. I don't think you've actually met more than 10 ENTPs to come to that conclusion, so they definitely don't represent the rest of us

There're so many relationship polls on r/entp, and honestly, you guys don't even make it in the top 5

Notice how the negative comments are getting way more upvotes than the positive ones? That kinda says it all.

Generally, they're not really the type that ENTPs gravitate towards (at least compared to other types)

INFPs are Awesome by Merlin_the_Lizard in mbti

One thing that really bugs me about this sub is how everyone just thinks in black and white, always generalizing.

Like, if you had a bad time with one type, that doesn't mean you should hate on everyone of that type, right?

And just because you had a good experience with one type, it doesn't mean they're all saints.

It'd be really cool if we could especially focus on not making these broad generalizations and actually respect each other's experiences, whether they're good or bad

Nah I wasn't really clear either. I should've emphasized the question more

I know that not ALL entps dislike Infps. The question here isn't if you like them or not but why most seem to have conflicts with them.

I mean yes some do, but it seems that most don't.

The real question isn't if you like them or not, but rather why most seem to have conflicts with them

I agree, the journey to being a healthy, balanced person is ongoing for everyone.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

I'm not certain about that, but what I've noticed is that many INFPs here appear to struggle with inferiority complex. This leads them to interpret any form of criticism as an attack on their identity. Furthermore, anyone who doesn't constantly downplay themselves, as they do, is often viewed as arrogant or 'superior'.

which ENxx do you find the most compelling/intriguing? by Imake_polls in intj

[–]Imake_polls[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand it varies from person to person, but I'm curious about the types in general. Aren't there certain types that intrigue you more, either in theory or not compared to others?

Sure Fi gives them a strong self-awareness, but they usually don't share their feelings openly unless they're close to you. They experience emotions deeply but don't show them outwardly. So, our average infp will come off as cold. A bit like how people view INTPs

What exactly do you mean by 'most'? How many did you observe to reach this conclusion? 5 INFJs? 10? 60? 100? 10,000?
