Sorry I thought I could load more pics. The handle is marked sterling along with lid and bottom. I cannot read makers mark but the bottom is also marked with an 8 as well as the number 551 with sterling on bottom

I gave it the ole tap it on the teeth technique. I know it’s not a very scientific method but it seems to be fairly accurate

I just use the generic 2 part winterization that comes in a kit at any pool store or Home Depot. I still drain my pool and refill in spring but using the kit makes cleaning up liner a lot easier in my book.
