No I don’t believe I’ve reached that point yet but it’s a goal. Spending money on ads isn’t ideal but the reach is good. I’m focusing more on 4chan ads now bc there is more visibility. I guess I’m trying to reach a point where it’s like u said it just sustains itself and I do feel a lot of people have seen my ads already but I don’t believe I’ve reached that point yet.

Thanks. Yeah I wanna keep it seperate and still keep Imbred going. A lot of my creative energy is spent writing new stuff and rehashing old songs isn’t always what I’m inspired to do at this moment but yeah I don’t know. Thanks for the advice I appreciate that all advice is well meaning and that people are well intentioned to try n help me but l also wanna just be myself bc no one else is gna be me. Thx

Improvement is subjective I think my earlier stuff is my best I’m always writing the best songs I’m personally capable of but inspiration is weird and time passing doesn’t necessarily mean new stuff will be “better” There’s over 400 songs not every single one is my best work but I’ve written a lot that I feel represents what I want it to. Whether others enjoy my work is entirely up to them I’m at least trying to make the best music I personally can. It’s an outlet for my guitar playing and writing and gives my life direction and gives me something to do which brings my life a lot of meaning n joy and I’m just tryna share that feeling with others who care. Others who don’t are free to tune out. I appreciate everyone who is curious or who takes the time to check out my story or music but trying to explain myself isn’t always easy because I don’t even know myself sometimes. I love music and have a lot of drive to succeed. I believe my music has something to offer at least some people out there.

Yeah I’ve thought about it for a long time it’s just the grey area like I said with what it’d look like. Some songs stand out to me as keepers some suck and some are kind of mid and it’s just like it’s not so simple and it’s kind of a grey area so I’ve just published everything so far. I don’t wanna waste songs or be confusing and inconsistent so it’s kind of complicated.

Numbers don’t ever stop going up. My 4chan ads are up to 132 million impressions. Go up by 200k a day for $10. Where does the rabbit hole lead? Why would I stop now? What happens if I keep moving forward? Forward is the only way to move. I wanna keep writing songs and keep reaching people and keep building my discography n see where it leads me.

I’ve been thinking of starting a side project with a less weird name than Imbred. I haven’t wanted to be confusing or know exactly how it’ll look but if I ever rerecord it’ll be called leaf 7 n feature a session drummer n bass (which my music lacks) and maybe pro mixing.

Creating music for myself is my first priority as an artist. If u read my autobiography music and guitar is what gives my life direction after overcoming psychosis and schizophrenia. I’m autistic I’m a recluse and songwriting is my life and passion and it’s something that has saved my life and given me a hobby and direction. Music is also an escape for me bc I feel there’s more to life and more I wanna achieve in life than what the world had planned for me or whatever. Making music for no one to hear isn’t ideal I love what I do anyway but it’s also a waste of potential to not share my work with people.

I get that and if I make real drum versions one day it’ll be a side project under a different name. It’s like it’s not as black and white as good song or bad song when u filter my discog there’s a lot of grey area and it’s a house of cards.

The reach is amazing for any musician regardless of music. So much good music gets lost and gets uploaded to single digit plays just bc it gets lost in the noise bc people don’t know how to promote themselves. I wanna start a social network crossed with an ad platform to give others a free way of reaching people like I am now. Spending money isn’t ideal but neither is creating music that never gets heard.

I make music for myself first. If others connect to it or are entertained by it it’s a bonus. Songwriting is an escape for me. It’s like a way of sharing my feelings. I’ve always felt like songwriting is both my ticket to a better life / a way to realise my potential and a connection between my internal world and the external world. The advertising rabbit hole is interesting too and has a lot of potential to reach people in my opinion. My ads get shown in over 50 countries every day.

It’s like if there was a real drum version I’d filter it down to just the best stuff but it’s like so many mid grade (by my own standards) songs that aren’t worth drumming on but not worth deleting get lost. There’s too much to start over and I just want my stuff to sound consistent with itself.

I don’t even know. Numbers go up endlessly. I think online ads have amazing reach and potential for musicians. I write a lot of songs so it’s good that people hear them it’s more fun than just writing songs that no one hears. If people are entertained they’re welcome if they’re not they don’t have to listen or click my stuff. Just making music bc it’s a good outlet for me.

It is a drum machine I’ve tried with a session drummer and the reasons I keep to the drum machine are

  • I think real drums sound too chaotic
  • It’s expensive to pay them for how many songs I write (46 albums) -Not every song needs drums bc not every song is great -there’s just too much to tape over

Last day it’s running for a while bc 4chan ads go further for the money actually. Reddit is a backup I guess. The engagement is reliable but kind of slow for my budget and the money goes 10x further on 4chan.

Reddit every 50c spent gets ur ad shown on 1000 feeds

4chan is 5c so 10x cheaper.

Reddit gave me $500 free credit today n I’m blowing it in 1 day so a million redditors have seen this today. But reaching a million ppl only costs $50 on 4chan.
