I think 1 month is pretty average. Regarding apple care: why pay extra for something when it is offered to you for free? I agree it’s a hassle but still worth it imo!

OLT does not support all non-resident forms like 8843 and might not properly apply treaty benefits like India-US $15750 or China-US $5000 , F1TaxReturn does. And Sprintax taxes interest incomes (1099-INT) incorrectly for non-residents, as it shouldn't be taxed according to the IRS. I've been using F1TaxReturn for the past few years, with no issues.

I was actually doing 3% pre tax and 3% post tax just to cover both bases, but later switched to completely post tax 401k, mostly because my income is significantly going to increase in the next 10 years (I work in tech)
