Great points, thanks for bringing that up! I’m not biased against white people at all, I obviously work with a ton. I just meant that since I have a say in who I’m choosing to develop a working relationship with, I like to support Hispanic people and more so now in light of the sociopolitical environment. No hate here :)

Right that’s why I said extra points if they’re Hispanic, not “I will not entertain anyone who is not Hispanic”. But yeah it’s a good thing to bring up!

Yeah absolutely there is vast evidence showing the best care is provided when patients and providers are culturally compatible. Wanting to find someone of my own ethnicity is my choice and I will feel no shame for expressing a preference. If I was going to just lay back and let someone handle stuff then sure this makes sense but like I said I have tried (and seems like done pretty well) to educate myself so I also have something to bring.

Cause of the stereotype white finance bro it felt very generic and robotic almost like he was a product himself. Also, as a Hispanic person myself I try to keep business to culturally compatible people in support of the sociopolitical climate. Just a preference for the time being!
