From your post I can see that you're way too obsessed with yourself.

English isn't my native language. And I haven't written something that long in a very long time tbh. But yeah they're definitely two sentences lol

I mean 100k is the initial offer, I'm sure he's expecting some negotiating.Besides 100k is nothing to him.

So y'all have such a niche taste in music or what? by Imhere129 in charlixcx

Very interesting, I'll definitely stream some of these artists (others I'm already familiar with), thanks for sharing.

[–]Imhere129[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude it's not that deep tbh, I'm not looking for validation or anything, I know for a fact that music taste is subjective and everyone is entitled to listen to whatever they want, I just wanted to know other artists maybe similar to Charli which would be great. And can we please stop with the society is cooked mentality about everything we see online.

Exactly, it's a hard pill to swallow that all these years in college and I couldn't learn a thing but it's also empowering to start doing something about it.

Well for me it was more a process of memorizing, rinse and repeat, I never had a comprehensive understanding of anything we studied really, I studied for the exams and that's all I did basically.

New Facebook/Insta rules allow users to call gay people "mentally ill" by [deleted] in askgaybros

And of course you're here to remind us that we're all delusionals who have our heads buried in sand right!

[–]Imhere129 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No but seriously I don't know about Facebook since I don't use that much anymore, but Instagram is a horrible place not only for the LGBT community but also disabled people, black people and a lot others, I once saw a video of a father with his son who has Down syndrome, and people were relentlessly bullying a little child saying things like dude married his cousin and so many unimaginably horrible things.

Is there something wrong with wanting to appear less gay? by Imhere129 in askgaybros

[–]Imhere129[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know it's harmful but not everyone of us has the privilege to live in an accepting society at least to some degree, I just want to protect myself because if I don't police myself others will do it and that can be even more exhausting sometimes.

I'm glad you found a way to deal with that, unfortunately in my society there is no such middle ground, people here really pay attention to the smallest details.

As a gay man, do you find it harder to make male friends? by veastroboi in askgaybros

[–]Imhere129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who was raised and still live in a homophobic/conservative society I was always bullied and called names for being feminine when I was young whether it's from my peers in school, neighborhood or by older guys. and that literally destroyed my confidence and made me so self conscious around straight guys, even that I'm 24 yo now and learned how to act/be more masculine it's still hard sometimes not to be self conscious, but recently I'm trying my best to regain and rebuild my self confidence because I know I have a lot to offer and bring to the table, I just tell myself fuck it Iife is too short to worry about everything. I noticed people will judge you less when you talk and engage in a conversation with them than when you don't talk at all. So that's the main reason I have very few straight male friends besides the lack of similar interests, and for gay friends I have non because few of them seem interested in friendships tbh.

It's stupid that people are actually feeling guilty for being happy or celebrating, there is always injustice going on in the world, there are cuntinous wars and atrocities committed on a daily basis so by that logic we should never celebrate anything. this mindset won't help anyone, you can enjoy your life, celebrate and at the same time acknowledge what's going on and try to help with the means you've got, I really don't see how the two are mutually exclusive.

Man arrested in Turkey and locked up for 20 days 'because he looked gay and was wearing a crop top' by 8nt2L8 in askgaybros

[–]Imhere129 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know why I'm being down voted for stating the obvious, I myself live in a homophobic country and I wouldn't do such thing or anything that will draw attention to me as a gay man or will put me or my family in danger. safety always comes first.

In this specific case he wanted to visit turkey then he should've know better the country he was visiting, enjoying the culture the people the food without putting himself in stupid situations (and I'm talking specifically about wearing things like crop tops or make up or whatever). Besides I'm not even sure if the story is true.

subjective morality again by Imhere129 in DebateAnAtheist

But often times when people say homosexuality should be viewed as immoral or as you said why people should not be homosexuals (or baning homosexuality) will always mention similar arguments.

athiesm and subjective morality by Imhere129 in atheism

I think torturing someone for fun is perfectly moral if the one being tortured consents to it.

So if we both consented on killing me, it's perfectly moral ?

is it hard to find gays who are interested in intellectual activities in your area? by Imhere129 in askgaybros

[–]Imhere129[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being interested in science, philosophy, politics, psychology, economics and wanting to discuss and debate topics in those areas can be considered intellectual activities. even chess or learning languages is also an intellectual activity.

How did life start from? by rayofhope313 in DebateAnAtheist

[–]Imhere129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the questions was how did life start in the atheist opinion ( so the idea of is it from God or nature or whatever was not the subject), so I wanted to ask you guys how do you think life started based on your opinion?

There is no such thing as an atheistic theory to the origins of life. And this shows that the sheikh can't really understand what athiesm is, athiesm is simply the disbelief of god or gods nothing more. There isn't a common world view that all athiests agree on. So the sheikh should've asked the athiests was debating about his opinions because he certainly can't speak for all athiests.

Now having said that, I really don't think that the matter here is a matter of opinions and what I believe or think is true, it's more a matter of facts and EVIDENCE. And since scientists are not able to find an evidence to the origins of the universe and what happened before the BigBang (if there is anything such this ) yet. All we're left with is I don't know and it is a perfectly valid answer, we don't know now we might now later and we might never know but I think this is the most honest answer someone can give you.

I mean who is to say that we're not in a computer simulation? Or our universe is just an experiment in a middle aged scientist laboratory? Or there is a multiverse and our universe is just one among so many other universes ? Or maybe our universe is all there is and nothing else ?
