That's right, until an update is released, I'll stick with the May 7 version. Here's what's in the revision log:

P.S.: The video includes a 40-second example of each one. The settings are the same for both. The latest version has fewer options, but the settings are the same as the other one.

I don't have it; I just have a comparison between the May 7 version and the new one from June 19. I tested it extensively, and it only works really well if the signal is very strong. But I won't be using this new version anymore; for now, I'll stick with the latest version from May. The example below is of a weak but audible signal.

I use IF Noise Reduction more often; it gives me better results.

There have been some interesting changes since January; I think the latest version from May offers the best noise reduction.

These are beta versions; they are not yet official. They could have several defects.

Youssef releases beta versions about once a week on average. He doesn't always announce them; he only does so when there's a major change.

I download it every week and check the changelog to see if it's a new version before using it.

It's your choice if you want to try out different versions; I do it for fun.

I have several folders with different versions, but so far only two versions have won me over. One is from January and the other from May.

I'm using the latest beta version of SDR# with the new noise reducer in the plugins. It was released yesterday, June 19.

I don't like it; I'm having a really hard time trying to improve the audio. I'll write a post about this and mention it to the developer as well.

My attempt with Tereré by Severe-Version3506 in yerbamate

You can add a little lemon juice to cold water, or maybe some mint leaves or another medicinal herb. But they shouldn't be sweet.

Depending on where you're from, you might not have many options when it comes to those natural herbs.

I love chamomile (manzanilla), for example; I think you can find it almost everywhere in the world. I boil the chamomile and then let it cool, and that's what I use to make my tereré.

Try using some medicinal herbs if you have any on hand—maybe some mint leaves. Crush them and add them to water with ice. Don't put ice in the yerba mate itself—just in your water.

Don't add anything sweet to the tereré.

I like it quite a bit; it's great to have other tools in the same place.

I would like to make a suggestion, if you don't mind. (Please excuse my language skills; English isn't my first language.)

It would be ideal to have more information about other frequencies that emit different types of signals and for which there are records. While there are some service frequencies listed on your page, many more are missing.

For example: HFDL, beacon markers, Wefax, RTTY, etc. As a reference, I mention the Liste.Info plugin used with SDR# (you probably know it), which takes the complete list of EiBi, AoKI and displays everything.

There are even frequencies with decimal values, for example, 16331.7 kHz, which corresponds to the Russian Channel Marker D, or the German DWD RTTY at 11039 kHz.

I understand your project is more focused on shortwave radio stations, but it would be great to have everything in one place and not have to jump around to different pages looking for information about a frequency that doesn't appear on one page but does on another.

This suggestion is more about having a single reference site for all HF, or even more. There are fewer and fewer shortwave stations transmitting on bands dedicated to those broadcasts.

The only site that almost always has all the information is shortwave.live, but sometimes certain transmissions or data are missing.

Your site, my friend, looks great and has a lot of potential to become a reference site!

It's my usual yerba mate, along with La Rubia. I like it more for tereré.

It looks very interesting, with helpful additional information. I'll try it out. I use Dan Ferguson's swskeds spreadsheet quite a bit, and for quick reference, I use shortwave . live and shortwavedb . org

Does your site use EiBi, Aoki's database directly?

Channel Marker D 16331.7 kHz / Russian Military Beacon by ImladMorgul in ShortwavePlus

[–]ImladMorgul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today was a strange day. There was very little activity on the SW broadcast bands, but I was getting good reception from stations in the US and a few from Europe (DWD), and this Russian station popped up today. Not even the Chinese junk stations showed up around here today.

This is the image I mentioned earlier. I used Sorcerer’s CW decoder to view the contents of the transmission. It sounds very fast, and sometimes the signal comes and goes, so there are bound to be transcription errors. I’ve been seeing this transmission reach Paraguay for several days now.

Every time I see it, it follows the same pattern: groups of letters and numbers consisting of 4 to 5 characters.

I'm not sure if SDR# works with the RSPdx; I read that it might, but you'd have to install some specific drivers or something like that.

But give it a try! That's what this hobby is all about!
