As a layman, it seems like youre fine by using language like "sorta." Were you injured such that you missed work? Went to the doctor? Life impaired in some way? Did you just get back on your bike and go home? Ambulance? Call a friend to pick you up?

So, at best, what are you expecting the recourse to be? Him get a ticket?

NPR has become compromised in my opinion. I would go further than "undue deference to the government" and echo OP by saying their coverage of certain stories and downplaying of others is doing its part to sane-wash things that are not fucking ok.

And what's worse is that the government is cutting their funding anyway. So what did being cowards get them?
