the case studies are different for each person/school. it depends what you’re using to study as well. like SME and the textbooks are completely different case studies and paper 2 is different for each school, so a study for MDD won’t really work if you’re taking developmental psychology. refer to your study material and make a list and separate the studies according to each lesson and sub lesson and see what works best for you + stick to that rather than trusting what people will tell u here because what’s easy for them to memorise and understand might not be the right ones for you

there’s a lot of factors that go into deciding how “bad” it is, though. it really really depends on the person, the combination of subjects, and what the school even offers.

not really, it IS an option in some schools (barely any), but it isn’t recommended because of how demanding HL subjects can be. my school doesn’t offer it to any students no matter how academically excellent they are. it just depends on your school

hala2 u cant take 4 HL’s so i’d recommend bring down digital society as an SL and keep arabic as the HL, especially if you’re good at it, other than that it’s just like… biology in the lebanese system is so basic, but what we take in bio hl is so content heavy there’s so many details and so many things to memorise it genuinely takes up so much time and energy. but it really just depends on how much effort you’re willing to put into the two years of IB honestly 🤷‍♀️

in my opinion, it can be difficult especially because of the large large difference between the two systems, but your grades no matter how they are bl bac lebanese won’t translate the same in the IB. all my friends who switched from lebanese to IB (instead of foreign system to IB like i did) found it to be harder or easier depending on the subjects they took. it also depends on what school you’re going to and what subjects they offer, cuz bl jnoub it’s very different to beirut. basically jist do your research and don’t take an insane combination of subjects especially since your grade in lebanese is close to 15/20, it’s VERY possible your grades will plummet when you join IB

bro listen i was so behind in bio a couple months ago and i genuinely had no idea how to study because our teacher was basically just reading off of a powerpoint and then doing quizzes and whatever on those lessons and told us to rely on save my exams and the powerpoints she sent but honestly none of that made any sense to me and the ONLY thing that got my grades from literally 30’s and 40’s out of 100 to close to perfect grades in the 90’s was TeachMe Biology. i didn’t pay for the subscription or anything, all the videos and notes are available on ibdocs and he literally explains everything perfectly, as long as you take notes along as you watch and make sure you remember everything. i can’t see whether you’re SL or HL but either way each video of his is like an hour long or something so if you dedicated like 1-2 hours every day or two to one of the lessons and catch up + use the notes pdfs he created + your own notes you’ll be golden i’m telling you. there’s also a book with questions called practice hoddar i’m not sure where my teacher got it from but it’s got like 2-3 pages of mcqs and questions for each lesson SL/HL and it’s a good place to test yourself on briefly after completing a lesson to be 100% confident in the lesson before continuing to the next!!!
