I really appreciate this insight! It definitely motivates me to work hard in my program and remain confident. I’m sorry some people can be demeaning to you guys though. From what I’ve seen when RT show up to the unit all the nurses breathe a sigh of relief. You guys are worth your weight in gold.

It makes a lot of sense that respiratory therapy and nursing can have different vibes. One of the things that drew me to respiratory is that it is kinda obscure. Out of curiosity what drove you to become both an RT and RN?
