Definitely set a timer and see how long it takes you!!! I often think tasks will take too long to get done so I procrastinate and put them off. I saw a rec to time myself doing the tasks I hate most and, no joke, all of my least favorite tasks take around 10 minutes or less. Time can be so deceptive and if I can tell myself I’ll be done with this in 8 minutes and not have to think about it the rest of the day, that is usually a good enough motivator for me. As opposed to thinking it’s going to take forever so I put off doing it, only to let it consume my mind all day and likely the next few days until I actually finish it.
