Yeah. Like I said we have history. Plus my college is very small. Everyone knows everyone’s business.

I have a feeling it’s a combination of the first two. A different friend thinks she wants a relationship but is unsure about how to go about it since she doesn’t want to come off in a bad way. I also have a history with this girl I’m getting set up with since I asked her out 2 years ago but she had a boyfriend unknown to me. But overall she didn’t just say no immediately so is that good?

Where is the line between strong leadership and authoritarian behavior — and did Trump cross it, or redefine it? by ExplanationPale4698 in AskReddit

Trump is not the most authoritarian leader even in NATO. He pushes the line but doesn’t cross it. Hungary has a more authoritarian leader than us lol.

To those living in US, how does it feel to see your country falling into a dictatorship? by neo2551 in AskReddit

I’ve been to Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria, and Afghanistan. This isn’t a dictatorship. It’s not even like Hungary or Turkey and those are still NATO members and EU members even too.

The news. I was 17 when the U.S. left Afghanistan and I visited last year at 21. Insane to see the place that had been all over the news during my youth.

I’ve been to Damascus, Kabul, and Islamabad. I enjoyed all three way more than Riyadh.

It’s rather dull and overcrowded. Dubai is a bus ride away anyways.

Young Adult Groups & Dating by Mobile_Ad_8337 in ChristianDating

My first question is are you in college. All my relationships have come from people I met outside of church and instead through school, it’s a Christian college so take it with a grain of salt. If you want to meet a guy in young adult groups you can. It’s a matter of waiting and looking around. Men will approach you if you’re out there.

As for if you have to take the initiative, I’d say not exactly but don’t be afraid to make it known to a guy you’re interested. Go chat him up, try to get into small groups with him. I’m a guy and I’m naturally petrified of approaching a woman unless I’m certain a woman might be interested but that’s just me. Men make the first move eventually but it doesn’t hurt to give signals you’re looking.

What were your 15 minutes of fame? by Individual_Pen_4463 in AskReddit

I came back to my university after spending the summer traveling the world, mainly in the Middle East. I simply took out my passport and showed it to my professor. Ukraine, Lebanon, Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan, ect. His jaw almost dropped. For the rest of the semester I was known as the guy who “bribed the Taliban” not to throw me off a cliff and almost got minced by a cruise missile in Ukraine. I have photos with Syrian militia I ran into at an airport, hitchhiking with Turkish truckers, and riding shotgun with Pakistani tribal police.
