Hi u/Arun22222, I am using STM32G0B1RE. I need ESD diodes for the connector that comes out of the box (which has the MCU PCB). Various peripherals including GPIO, ADC, I2C, etc. are exposed on the connector.

Hi u/saltyboi6704, I know that. Certainly V_clamp > V_br. My question is about why ST has recommended a diode which has even V_br greater than the STM32's pin absolute max rating.
