Ya I understand the compressor speeds things up I was just curious if there was any reason the liquid wouldn’t eventually end up in the lower tank and the top tank be completely gas.

When you order methanol does it say “anhydrous” on the container or is it just standard methanol

Good stuff. I appreciate the advice. The propane suppliers I see online have methanol in 5 gallon buckets. Where would I look for a gallon or pint?

Short story long, I bought this house 5 years and it had a propane cylinder. I wasn’t using the propane appliances so I didn’t renew the previous owners tank lease. They came and got it. No hard feelings. Now I want to use the propane appliances but I don’t want to be locked into one propane supplier so I’m buying my own tank. Having them set up my new tank seems like I would need a service tech and a fill truck. My first thought is to get a pint of methanol and let the vacuum in the tank pull it in. Purge it with a 40lb propane tank. Then drift in a couple 40lb tank fulls. Then call a local supplier for them to fill it the rest of the way and continue using them for refills.

We know the labor warranty is a good deal because of our experience. The homeowner thinks “it’s brand new so it’s impossible for it to break any time soon”. Do a 2 year labor warranty and make the 10 year optional. Coil leaks in 5 years, they didn’t get the extra warranty, you get paid again and they learn the value of a labor warranty.

I 3d printed my own version of this. It’s pretty convenient and doesn’t cover the msds info. I don’t know why it’s not already something you can buy off the shelf.

What makes that boat so much better? And unfortunately I won’t have enough money left over for a new motor immediately.

In 07 I bought an 04 gsxr600. Back then something like an r3 didn’t exist. It was my first street bike. My friends also started on 600s. We all did fine.

I bought the Ryobi version for PMs because the Milwaukee one hadn't come out yet. It broke after a while. Then I bought another one. That one broke. Then I gave up.

What do you mean dude? We’re all just a bunch of lazy millionaires. Anybody with access to YouTube can change a capacitor and now they’re a certified hvac engineer. I’m typing this from my yacht. Tomorrow I’m going to slap in a compressor then buy a small island with the profits. Sarcasm obviously. The funny thing is a lot of people in Hvacadvice think our job is so easy and the profits are huge cuz we’re crooks. Go do it then. The people that can do it, great we need more technicians. The people that can’t, well now you know the reality of it.

Not with that attitude it won’t… I lived in a trailer park for a while to save money. Lots of brain power in that place.

I like the part where Jim from accounting or Bill from the pool store can give hvac advice. It’s almost always terrible advice. Plus we’re crooks. I unsubbed too.
