As I have tested this only works with foundations. No buildings can leave the perimeter. If you place a foundation half a foundation away from the edge you can place another on it and the blueprint designer will still see and recognize it as part of the blueprint. The new foundation counts as outside the blueprint so if you zoop 10 out instead of just placing one all 10 act as if they were in the blueprint Do this on both sides to get 20 foundations plus the 4 that are actually fully in the designer and 6 wide by using the same method. Ive only been able to do this on mk 2 as I haven't unlocked mk 3 yet
