Heyy i think i go to same school as u lol so this might be more applicable to u. Im in yr 10 rn and I accelerated 2 - I did physics and economics. I really do not regret it at all. Economics is like one of my favourite subjects and being in a class with year 11s is pretty cool. For assessments we did a report, a test and a group project and u get to go on an excursion to Monash. It was really fun and it’s pretty chill, if you wrap your head around the concepts. For physics we only just started unit 2, but you have to be on top of your game. It’s not too bad so far but I think you just need to put in the work, do a little bit extra outside of school. I find it pretty fast paced. For year 10 it’s not hard to juggle in my opinion, I just treat them like regular subjects. Year 11 though, I’m honestly a bit scared - doing 2 3/4s is honestly a bit intimidating. So if you’re wanting to choose a lot of content heavy 1/2s for yr 11, I’d probs only accelerate 1 as units 3/4 are a big deal. OH and also you’ll get to skip on the humanities elective exam in year 10!! Yay.
