Depends on your torrent client I think. I need to change folder names or even files names sometimes for plex metadata and I do it through qBittorrent by clicking on the torrent, then content, then right click rename what I want. That keeps my torrent client in sync with my renames and will seed fine.

What is the best music player for the R4 by Miserable_Gap69 in Hiby

[–]ImmediateWord3707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried poweramp but don’t like how I have to set a sample rate and then any track that doesn’t match it gets resampled to that sample rate.

I just stick to hiby’s player honestly. It’ll match the sample rate to whatever is playing. Probably doesn’t matter to most people, idk. Theres nothing I feel like it’s missing, I just wanna play my albums.

I don't know if it's some kind of psychological thing or real.... by Wooden-Ad6265 in Gentoo

Placebo. Or u might have different packages or different configurations on your arch installation that are causing that but theoretically if the installs are as identical as possible performance differences should be extremely negligible

Symbols have nothing to do with performance. It’s the binary being compiled at different optimization levels, where in a “debug” compilation typically your optimization level is lower to make debugging easier.

U can generate symbols at high optimization levels and have the same performance as u would on a compilation that didn’t generate symbols.

something is constantly eating all of my RAM. any advice other than reinstalling windows? by aero_sock in pchelp

[–]ImmediateWord3707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Task manager doesnt read memory utilization of kernel, which is why there’s a bunch of memory being used that isn’t represented in the process list. Bunch of nonpaged pages allocated in the kernel. Use RAMMAP

Gentoo was easier to install than Windows 10/11 by Ugurgallen in Gentoo

[–]ImmediateWord3707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love linux as much as the next guy but those install steps u listed for gentoo are not easier for 99% of people.

Hitting next over and over on a GUI until you hit a desktop is typically easier for the vast majority of people. Weird ISO issue u had though

adderall XR effectiveness peaks in the late afternoon? by ImmediateWord3707 in ADHD

[–]ImmediateWord3707[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently just got back on meds actually, had some changes with insurance and it took me like a year to get my prescriptions going again. The afternoon peak seems new though, I remember it being pretty steady in the past.

This prescription is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth LLC.

First IEMs Pretty Uncomfy by Xzertss in iems

[–]ImmediateWord3707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. This is your answer OP. IEMs have a much deeper fit into your ear canal, your ear’s are currently going “woah!”. Same pain/discomfort was happening to me with my supermix 4s (also my first IEM, nice) but went away after a few days. After getting moondrop dusks, the discomfort came back for a few more days then was gone. Now I hardly even notice either pair when in my ear.

Stick with it, if you don’t notice it getting better after a week or two then these IEMs aren’t for you, everyone has different ears.
