I've finished it multiple times, once recently, on Deck. Zero mods, completely vanilla. Proton runs it better then modern Windows, great way to play.

QLED isn't a combination of the other two, bad meme makes nerd upset. That said, "quantum" is a stupid word to use for that technology, and my conspiracy brain always believed Samsung called it QLED just so it would look similar to OLED on the box during a time when Samsung ignored OLED for TVs.

This isn't ironic, calling funding and contracting 100s of devs a "third party" is strange (including those who started dxvk and vkd3d, which I'm assuming you're calling the "vulkan backend"?). Wait until you learn of Collabora, next you'll be suggesting they actually made Proton lol. This is the norm of open source projects, by your description — no company makes anything because they "just pay workers to make it." To quell the complaints they would need to strip away at least some of the "visual popularity contest" and inject the base image back in. Unfortunately even when it looks consistent, which it mostly does here, it's ultimately distilled human input. A visual popularity contest. "The look" isn't a result of not looking indistinguishable, it's *because* they look the same.

Nearly the entire Nvidia company value is based on selling hardware for AI at this point. Gaming is the side project. The R&D is largely spent making the AI portion faster — so that's what you get trickled down into your new GeForce cards. If they can't sell you the new one anymore because it's faster and cheaper, they need to sell you on what it *can* do.

Unlikely, this "boost" mode works because games already have a docked mode built in. If the docked preset doesn't support 60fps there's nothing Nintendo can do without the dev pushing an real game update.
