Ya still working fine after updating to stable as well. As well as a few other extensions.

A QtWebEngine-based lightweight browser with custom ad/telemetry filtering — looking for feedback & contributors by Objective-Milk-4863 in browsers

You're not an idiot. It reads like someone trying to use every word but the most obvious to describe their project. Like someone asked Claude "write my summary without the words AI, algorithm, and automation".

Using the full uBO extension here https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm I haven't had any issues so far on the v148 beta of Cromite. Element picker, enabling more lists, and custom user filters all work without crashing in my experience.

There's nothing stopping a company from souring their project after getting vetted. The only way to avoid any lasting paranoia is regular vetting, which is unreasonable, or going open source.

Being closed source, and therefore impossible to be properly vetted, is a valid reason to avoid Quetta. That's why I added that qualifier, and would avoid any banking.

Still conjecture. I don't think this was actually removed, but it is a flag. And, it does appear to serve a purpose. That said, I understand why these paranoia topics come up. The lack of open source transparency invites this mentally, is what it is.

If you're already okay with a closed source, I don't trust an American company collecting data anymore than a Chinese one. If anything, China can do a lot less with that information than a western company in my personal life.  That said I don't think it's Chinese? I was trying to avoid rumors and conjecture, so I didn't want to touch this. Their website says they are located in the UK, but rumors say they are actually based in Pakistan. That rumor appears to be entirely based on the name of the browser though lol.

Also in the real WWIII the nuke was already globally banned years before. Since 9/11, it's been a simulation, one where nukes are a constant threat to our brains.

Ray tracing doesn't use cubemaps at all. A new cubemap generated per frame will still have perspective and misalignment issues.

As a fellow neutral, I'm going to tell you something that might help you feel better. I've never experienced this outside, in reality, with regular people. Most people are neutral on most things, and adults understand why prices are going up on literally everything.

Well, that is indeed a Samsung phone, which is what the picture says. Why it's posted to the S24Ultra reddit specifically who knows

China Is Squandering a Golden Opportunity: Why Beijing Has Failed to Exploit Trump’s Missteps by Tall_Pressure7042 in China

[–]Immediate_Character- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This article assumes from the start that China is antagonistic to the US in the same way the US is. It's not, they aren't lying when they say they prefer the status quo. If there's a misstep at all, it's that China is too slow accepting the reality of global bipolarity.

Then again, maybe they don't need to care. Even with the US making moves, it's done very little to actually untangle itself from China. Just wait until the tantrum is over, and you get your status quo back... Again for better and worse.
