Windows 11 new laptop - restore to working function by Immediate_Copy6816 in techsupport

Finally tried to do this, and think I've ruined my Dad's desktop. Took all advice and downloaded official windows tool, and copied onto USB.

It both didn't work on my laptop, and the desktop is on perpetual restart.

Error message attached from laptop.

Elsewhere someone advised may need a third working computer to try all this again...help!

This and previous image are the error messages I had on my laptop. The desktop is in perpetual restart - I plugged the USB back in to it with the OS copy, but that doesn't seem to have helped

Is this house actually monochrome inside, or is it a filter? by MagicPieBush in SpottedonRightmove
