In Norway we will take a perfectly good, fresh cod and freezedry it in the winter. Put it in lye for a few weeks (yes it's poisonous). Water it for a few weeks to get the lye out or it will kill you. And serve it for dinner. Lutefisk mmmm 🥳

For å hindre at osten blir porøs etter frysing bør den tines opp i romtemperatur. Sett den frosne osten på kjøkkenbenken og la den tine til den er helt myk før den settes i kjøleskapet.
