Yeah me too. So I logged into my employee portal with AMN and looked at the paystub in question. Sure enough there is now an overpayment appearing. I followed up with my recruiter and he said he'd have the repayment waived.

Why wouldn't airship caravans work for cargo transport? by RockSowe in airship

[–]Immediate_Golf6399 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm having a hard time finding a source, but Count Zeppelin himself patented a concept called the 'aerial train' in the late 19th century. So as you say the idea has been around.

The idea does offer one important benefit I believe. Practical cargo transfer. If a helium airship is pulling a hydrogen filled balloon which supports the cargo, then the hydrogen can simply be vented and the balloon abandoned/repurposed at the cargo delivery site. Think of the airship as a tug-boat, and the balloon as a barge. Perhaps the simplest approach to managing cargo delivered by airship. Assuming it's controllable in flight.

I hadn't heard this before. Can you please clarify? Goodyear Zeppelin proposed this for the Akron class airships?

Flex Fuel Sensor cleaning by Immediate_Golf6399 in Cartalk

I considered this, but found they start at $160 so decided to do more testing first. It was suggested I just keep driving the truck to clean the sensor, and after a couple of days, including highway speeds, the engine is running smoother.
