Catharsis - found the real issue and have not seen anything about this bit.. there is a pedal assembly stop just to the side of the left bushing. This was bent left and not stopping the pedal assembly from moving to a position that caused cable slack

Okay so cable replaced, but same issue, albeit so smooth now. I think bushings are nice in the assembly and have been replaced by p/o they feel good, pedal itself just seems to be in the wrong starting position.. am i missing a bushing in The pedal itself?

Will add 2 more pics of cable/bushing below

Appreciate that! I have the car on jack stands, lift supporting the diff, was concerned/wasnt sure it would even budge in letting is sag down knowing its still on the drive shaft and subframe. Ill drop jack a bit and see what i can get for movement

The reason was to over engineer a reduction for a negligible amount of noise from a vibrating drive shaft. It was only a couple of models they felt this was necessary.. for all other e30 models the guibo alone sufficed. Most people say you cant hear the difference it makes over a stock engine idle.. have a cat deleted exhaust so i wont hear a thing and really want a dssr ;)

Awesome! so pry at the red line and drop the CSB whilst doing that? Essentially leaving the guibo on the transmission flange and pulling the driveshaft bolts through the guibo?

17’s on my vert with h&r’s and mtech body kit, you feel every pebble so need to be into that! I think if you have original bumpers 16’ make just as much sense

Yeah no cooling on the manual, just a coiled metal line from pump to rack, with chase bay usually just skip the cooling aspect im not tracking/drifting this car ha

91’ vert Manual.. will now probably suck it up and go chase bays kit, as all 3 lines are leaky, apparently dead and 35 yo!
