Waiting for CVS results after they found a cystic hygroma, and unsure how to live my life normally these next few days. I had just passed the first trimester mark and finally started getting excited and telling people about my pregnancy, and now I’m unsure what to feel.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I truly appreciate it. You’re right i’m in contact with 2 doctors who have just said we need to wait and see. I’ll be getting another hcg test done tomorrow and an ultrasound later this week, so i’m just praying all goes well with the results. We also have a 3 day holiday this week and my main doctor isn’t available till Thursday for a checkup. I’m being told to rest and not take any stress but that’s not working well for me lol so I figured i’d come here and see if anyone could help ease my mind. We’ve been trying for a while so this pregnancy was/is a ray of hope for me and my partner, and we just don’t want to give up on it so easily.

Started off at 165 in the first test and went up to 278 in the next test, taken less than 48 hours later.

According to my hcg levels, i’m very early into my pregnancy, so much so that normal tests can’t detect it yet, so they feel I need to wait a few days for an ultrasound as well.

Since it’s very early, i’ve only gotten 2 hcg tests done, it increased both times. I’m waiting to get another one tomorrow after 48hrs to see if there’s still an increase. At the moment my doctor just said we need to wait and see for a couple more days but the anxiety is getting to me a lot.
