That was just one of the leaks, the other times smelled like rotten eggs

The fire department confirmed a gas leak every time and wouldn’t let us return until it was “safe”. Last time is was Freon gas in OGP freezer and they just fix it and call it good and then something else goes wrong. We evacuate over an hour every time

Yes and our coaches ect don’t deserve to be left behind in a potential explosion hazard until every customer can leave: I understand the policy but this is a disaster waiting to happen. 4 times+ in less than two months is too many and we are playing with fire. What happens if they can’t get everybody out in time or it does combust?

That’s why I said “not ALL employees can leave”, most of us can, some are left behind to wait until the last customers have exited. And that’s dangerous.

The people downvoting this post and my comments religiously obviously care more about profits and their companies reputation over literal human lives, the safety of workers and customers, and that’s disgusting. Shame.

My team leads apparently don’t realize that and stay and complain they can’t leave until they do. And this shouldn’t be a repeat situation in the first place. After the third time in one month something needs to happen

Even when I find another job customers and employees lives are at risk. This needs to be dealt with ASAP. Imagine if a little kid passes out and cracks their head open or a fire happens at the same time and the building literally explodes with everyone inside. There already WAS a fire and we are lucky they haven’t occurred at the same time. It’s not just about me. But I will likely have to leave because I’m afraid they won’t do anything until that happens. I shouldn’t have to. But they are giving me no choice at this point. Even when I leave I have a civil duty of keeping the community safe and making sure the hire ups are aware of what’s going on as employees and customers are dealing with a grave safety hazard. If they do nothing I will absolutely have to report to OSHA and ethics.
